Our libraries

Two places to discover your next book.

Each library has its own story, but the rule is the same: take what you’ll read, share what you can.

Kuru Kuru

Our second library, built from a kit.

For the second location, we used a Little Free Library kit—another practical way to get a durable book exchange into a community and keep the network growing.

The first build

From lumber to library.

The Dora River Landing library started with basic woodworking: measure twice, line up the pieces, fasten the frame, fit the shelves, then paint and finish it for outdoor use.

The build itself became part of the project—learning how something useful can move from an idea on a workbench to a shared object in a community.

Dora River Landing

From the workbench to the community.

Once the first library was finished, stocked with books and mounted at Dora River Landing, it was ready for its real job: putting books within easy reach of the community.

How it works

No membership. No checkout desk.

A neighbourhood library works because everyone helps keep the books moving.

1

Take a book

See something you’d like to read? Take it home.

2

Read it

Keep it as long as you need. Enjoy it. Share it with someone else.

3

Leave a book

When you can, add a good book so the next reader finds something too.
